Charles Mwando Simba
Charles Mwando Simba (born 18 October 1935 in Moba, Tanganyika Province) is a Congolese politician and member of UNADEF. Since October 2008 he has been the Defense Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Adolphe Muzito's cabinet, succeeding Chikez Diemu.[1]
Previously, since 6 February 2007, he was Minister of Rural Development in the government of Antoine Gizenga. He also served as a Minister during the Congo's second republic and was governor of Grand Kivu for twelve years.
According to the MLC he has had Belgian nationality since 28 May 2002, as it can be see on page 29149 of the letter signed by the Belgian king[2]
